The name of the domain is from a Mr. d'Hugues, who more than 200 years ago built the mansion.
In 1869 a member of the Pradier family purchased the place. 
In 1988 Sylvaine and Bernard  Pradier took over from Bernard's father.Bernard and his son Bastien are both artists. The labels were "home made"-
In 2017 the winemaker for 10 years Gregory Payan took over the domaine

The domain covers 15 ha.
