Rouge and Rosé
Grenache must be
at least 50%.
Syrah and Mourvedre must
together be at least
20%.
Other grapes allowed for Cotes du Rhone, may
not exceed
20%.
White varieties might be used for rosé - as "other grapes".
Blanc
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc and Viognier
must
be at least 80%
Other grapes allowed for Cotes du Rhone, may
not exceed
20%.
The
level of alcohol must be at least 12,5 % for red wines og 12 % for rosé
and white wines.
The yield may not exceed 42 hl./ha.
A co-operative situated in Seguret, is the dominating producer as it
vinify 40-50% of the wines from the appellation.
