In 2008 Denis Monnier bought the vineyards from the former Domaine Hervé
Rabasse, who sold most of the production to a negociant.
For many years
Monnier has through his firm VITISUVI
helped other wine growers by managing their vineyards and making
their wines. Now it's time for him to make his own wines.
A new cellar will be built at the vineyards.
Caroline and Denis love horses and have two solid draught horses
for use in the vineyards.
The domain covers 30 ha. of vineyards of which 22 ha are in AOC Cairanne
and 2 ha. Plan de Dieu (in production from 2015). The rest is
Cotes du Rhone.
Since 2014 the vineyards are certified agriculture
The name of the domain refers to a nymph and this nice
legend is told:
sheep at Combe de la Pauline facing
the village of Cairanne.
