The name Frigoulas refers to the provencal word ferigoulo - thyme
The name of the family was known from local sources as early as 1256.
Thus the faqmily claim a history of 750 years - at the place.
Today the domain covers 35 ha. situated in Cotes du Rhone Village.
Since 2014 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique .
