Until 2002 two brothers made their wines at this property. André Girard called his wine Lou Patacaiau and Robert Girard used the name Cuvée du Belvedere. 2002 the son of Andre, Jacques Girard followed the brothers and he calls his wine Domaine Les Girard du Boucou. The property is situated in lieu-dit Le Boucou to the North of Route de Bédarrides.
Only 4,5 hectares belong to the property and the production is limited, especially when up to 70% is sold to negociants. The vines are 60-70 years old.
The viticulture is organic, approved from ECOCERT since 2005 and since 2010 also as agriculture biologique.
