The Granget family has owned Chateau de Husson since 1890 and has been bottling wines with this name since 1973-2006.
In 2007 a part of the vineyards and the right to use the name was sold to a family from Luberon. In 2015 Husson was resold to Aubert Frères in Travaillan.
After the sale of Chateau Husson Bernard and Jerôme Granget kept 7,5 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape and new cellars were built by the vineyards near Husson. The new domain got the name Domaine le Jas des Papes, and the first vintage with this name were bottled in 2008.
