The domain was founded about 1800 by Benoit Jouffron a forefather of the owners today. It covers 15 ha. Some of the different plots around the appellation has vines of very old age - more than 100 years. The average age is about 50 years. Until 1998 the production was sold to negociants but then the two brothers Serge and Jean-Paul Gradassi started bottling at the estate. They have with the help of an oenologist earned reputation for making good wines.
Jean-Paul Gradassi died in 2014. His daughter Laetitia Gradassi are now runng the estate together with her oncle Serge. Her father was responsible for the cellar and as Laetitia has some wine education, ske will be responsible for making the wines.
