In 2010 Vincent Moreau bought this quite big domain
of 110 ha. Before this purchased it he had run Domaine
du Galuval at the route from Cairanne to
Rasteau since 2004 where he built the nice
architectured buildings.
This domain was
sold in 2016.
Chateau de Ruth belonged in the period 1970-2010
to Christian Meffre
from Chateau de Raspail in Gigondas as a heir from
his father
Gabriel Meffre.
By the
acquisition of Moreau the property's 110 ha it's vineyards needed
care to be able to produce quality wines. Moreau's
quality consciousness will probably be a guarantee that he will
probably not be satisfied
just to make "simple
mass production".
Even before the purchase of Chateau de Ruth, Moreau had
acquired 1.2 ha in 2009 in Chateauneuf du Pape.
