This is the only cooperative in Chateauneuf du Pape. It was estasblished on another location in 1925 and moved it's present place in 1960 and was renamed on occasion. The name refers to the Prince of Orange as Courthezon was never a part of the Papacy like Chateauneuf du Pape.
A part of the 189 members are not delivering grapes from AOC Chateauneuf du Pape. They deliver grapes from a total of 580 ha.
This means an average area of 3 ha. Members delivering grapes for Chateauneuf du Pape have together 100 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape. 100 ha = 17,25% of 580 ha.

Nogle af medlemmerne leverer druer fra AOC Chateauneuf du Pape, men i kooperativets nærområde vil en større del af producenter i Orange og Courthezon
levere druer fra Cotes du Rhone Village, Cotes du Rhone eller IGP. Nogle leverer også druer fra f.eks. Vacqueyras, Gigondas eller andre appellationer.
