The chateau can be dated back to 1598. It was owned by the same family for 300 years.
About 1950 the property was bought by the "doctor" and mayor of Lourmarin Olivier Monod.
In 1999 Jérôme Monod and his three sons Fabrice, Guillaume and Donatien decided to build cellars and make and bottle the wines at the domain. Their first vintage was 2000. Since 2013 (Jerome Monod died in 2016) the oldest son Patrice Monod has been the general manager
The domain covers 20 ha. which have been certified agriculture biologique and partly also biodynamic since 2011.
Since 2003 the responsibility for the vineyards and the cellars has been entrusted to Yoann Mazandain
