In 1993 Henri Bungener took over from his father who had then owned the 
domain since 1976. He was before that working as a psycologist in Londres
The vineyards covers 15 ha of which the 13 ha of AOC Vacqueyras are situated around the domain near the border of Gigondas. The 2 ha of Cotes du Rhone are also situated in Violès.
Since 1993 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.

Wines

Vacqueyras Fruit Sauvage
2015: 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Maceration for 2 months.
50% is aged in high wooden tanks. The rest in cement tanks.

Vacqueyras Carmin Brillant
2014: 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Maceration for 1-2 months.
50% aged in one-year-old barriques for 20 months.

Vacqueyras Lao Muse
2014: 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. 
Fermentation and maceration last for around 3 months and take place in open barriques and then ageing for 12-18 months in one-year-old barriques.
Robert Parker once talked about a "huge, dense, super-concentrated, monster-styled Vacqueyras".

Vacqueyras Rosé La Rose du Clos
2016: 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Saignée.
Rose is them name of Bungeners daughter living in Great Brittain

Cotes du Rhone Les Bateliers
2016: 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah
