Even Bakke has Norwegean roots as his name indicates, but he is born and grown in USA. He started in wine business in California where he worked in wineries for 14 years in Napa and Sonoma Vally, Landmark Vineyards and Matanzas Creek.

After marrying a French girl, the daughter of a winegrower in Champagne, the family decided to settle down in France.
After some searching for the right terroir, they bought a domain of 25 ha. in Le Barroux.21 ha are in production now and furthermore 5 ha which are rented.
2007 was his first vintage at the place.

The vineyards are certified agriculture biologique since 2012 and use some elements of agriculture biodynamique.

2010:  83% Grenache, 7% Syrah, 4% Carignan and 6% Cinsault.
35% aged in older demi-muids.

Ventoux Vieilles Vignes
2007: 94% Grenache and 4% Syrah. The vines 65-80-years-old.
33% is aged in demi-muids. In 2007 12.000 bottles were made. Also made in 2009

Ventoux Pied Porcher
2007: 100% Grenache from a single vineyard "Pied Porcher" of 1,09 ha. 
45-years-ol vines. 24 hl/ha. 50% aged in demi-muids. Bottled in 2010.
The two special cuvées are only made in good vintages as 2007 and 2010.

Ventoux Rosé
2014: 100% Grenache Noir from 0,5 ha.

Ventoux Blanc
2011: 82% Grenache Blanc and 18% Clairette.
Partly ermented and aged in demi-muids. 2.200 bottles
