The original buildings at the place from 16th century belonged to the popes. It was bought from them in 1735 by a Mr. Quinqui and belonged to descendants of him until 1989 when the place was purchased by Marie-Hélène and Philippe Avon, relatives of the former owner.
Unfortunately Philippe Avon died by a tragic trafic accident in 2007.

In 2009 the property was purchased by
Eric Petit-Jean, the owner of the Champagne firm Pol Cochet. His oenologist from Pol Cochet Jean Pierre Valade got new challenges as a creator of Rhone wines and his wife is responsible for the oenoturístc affairs at La Croix des Pins.
The compagny created by the purchase Latitude Wine has also bought 7,5 ha in Gigondas (from Domaine de Cassan in Lafare) and 4 ha in Beaumes de Venise. Latitude wines has also interests vin an estate in Tunesia Kurubis.

The 22 ha of vineyards of Croix des Pins have been certified agriculture biologique since 1990, and the vineyards in Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise are certified since 2012.

Very exclusive appartments are for rent at the first flor of the main building and here is also a restaurant, Restaurant A Ventoux.

2015: 65% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and 25% Syrah.
5% aged in barriques for 18 months.

Gigondas Parpaillon
2015: 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah. 35 days ofmaceration.
Aged for 18 months in barriques.

Beaumes de Venise Les Contreforts de Montmirail
2015: 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah.

Muscat de Beaumes de Venise
2016: 100%  Muscat à petits grains    

Ventoux Les Troix Villages 
2016: 55% Grenache 35% Syrah, 5% Marselan and 5% Carignan.

Ventoux Noria
2014: 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. 20% aged in barriques.

Ventoux Rosé Les Troix Villages
2016: 40% Grenache/Cinsault, 40% Syrah/Vermentino and 20% Marselan. Press direct.

Ventoux Blanc Les Troix Villages
2016: 50% Grenache Blanc/Roussanne and 50% Vermentino/Marsanne.

Ventoux Noria
2016: 40% Grenache, 35% Roussanne, 25% Vermentino .
20% aged in barriques.

Ventoux Blanc Le Secret du Vieux Chène
2016: 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne,30% Marsanne and 10% Clairette. Fermented an aged in pièces.
