Florence Mejan's grandfather Valéry Taulier became the first "cave particulière de Tavel" when he in 1920 buildt a cellar and created Domaine Mejan-Taulier. 
Since 2012 Florence Mejan has had det official responsability at the domain.  Before that she worked in aussuriance kompagnies and in real estate business.

The vineyards in 3 appellations covers 36 ha. Since 2012 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique and for some part biodynamique methodes are used.
