The large buildings on the site were originally church property.
There is a chapel on site completed in 1758 which has been used for concerts and art exhibitions.
Saskis' parents Els and Ramón bought Chateau Boucart in 1992.
There were also some vineyards at the time, and there are older cellars, but it is only
after Saski's and Maurice Goetschy's takeover in 2017 that domain is focusing on own production.
They have 19 ha
of vineyards, most of which are AOP Lirac located around the castle, while some ha is IGP Coteaux Pont d'Arc.
At least the vineyards of Lirac will be agriculture biologique from 2020/2021.
