History
Algeria - Saint Laurent des Arbres -
Chateauneuf du Pape
In 1967 the domain was established in Saint Laurent des Arbres
by Jean
Duseigneur when he - as many other winegrowers - went back to his homeland from
Algeria.
In 1988 his son Frédéric Duseigneur joined his father and in 1992 he took
over, later joined by his brother Bernard.
n 2012 Frédéric Duseigneur left the partnership with
his brother to make a consulting firm of his own aimed at biodynamic farming and
winemaking.
In 2013 Bernard Duseigneur bought 12 ha of vineyards from Domaine Monpertuis in
Chateauneuf du Pape and since 2013 he has made his wines here with
the name Domaine Duseigneur. Since 2014 all wines are made in the cellar in
Chateauneuf du Pape
A part of the vineyards and the cave in Saint Laurent des Arbres was sold to Jean-Frédéric
Bistagne now running Domaine des Maravilhas.
After these changes the domain covers 13 ha Chateauneuf du Pape, 4,5
ha Lirac,
14 ha Cotes du Rhone Village Laudun, 2,5 ha Cotes du Rhone and 0,34 ha IGP.
