The domain was established in 1995 by Jacques Borrelly.
Until then the vinewyards had been a part of Domain Maby.
Today his two
daughters Séverine (married Lemoine) and Mélanie run the domaine.
Séverine is the wine maker and Mélanie takes care of sale and marketing
affairs.
The domain covers 60 ha; 20 ha. Lirac, (St-Laurent-des-
Arbres and Lirac), 20 ha Tavel and 2 ha IGP (Pujaut)
Since 2014 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.

The name of the cuvée refers to the fermenting process reminding of the way a
pearl grows by adding new layers. The grapes from the different varieties reach
maturity successively during a period and when a variety has reached optimal
maturity the must goes in to the same fermentation tank.
