In 1628 a property at the place was owned by a premier consul
(mayor) of Roquemaure. His name was Bouschassy. The name of the domain comes from
this family.
The Degoul family came in possession of the estate in 1973. From then until 2010
the domain was run by Gérard Degoul. In 1980 the first
bottling at the domain took place.
Since 2010
Michèle Degoul the wife of Gérard Degoul has run the estate of 27 ha of
Lirac together with her son Nicolas.
