Cheli
is Spanish born and Jérôme is French. The couple
met as young students at an
university in Andalucia.
In 2012 they acquired the property in Sablet, where both
buildings and vineyards were somewhat overdue. Both
parts appear to be corrected in 2018
Alongside the operation of the small domain in Sablet, the
couple run a negociant firm
Maison
Rouge.
There are no wine cellar
on the property in Sablet, but in 2018 they
are setting up a celler
in Sablet village.
The domain and its 4 potentially 5 ha
of vineyards are
located near the highest point in Sablet, Cheval Long.
Therefore the vineyards are landscaped on 15 terraces.
The vineyards are
certified agricultural biologique

Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet
2015: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. Aged in demi-muids
Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet Rosé
2017: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. Saignée
Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet Blanc
2017: 80% Viognier, 20% Grenache Blanc
Fermented and aged in barrels for 3 month.
