According to family documents, the Dorte family has been represented in St Marcel d'Ardèche since the 17th century. However, it was not until the 19th century that the present property was established.
It was the current owner's father Gerard Dorthe, who in the 1970s really became a wine grower and acquired Cotes du Rhone vineyards. Frédéric Dorthe received wine training in Beaune and after practical experience in Condrieu and Côte-Rotie, he took over the property after his father in 2006.

2016: Mainly Grenache and Syrah.

2017: Mainly Grenache with Syrah and Mourvedre.

2016: 100% Syrah.

IGP Coteaux de l'Ardèche Mon bon plaisir
2016: 60% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Syrah

VDF Blanc Exsultate
2015: 50% Muscat de petit grains, 50% Roussanne

VDF Le Cardinal
2012: Selection of Grenache. 3 years of ageing in barriques.
