The property has belonged to the Allegre family for five generations. 
Already in 1923 a forefather got a prize for his wine at a fair in Nîmes.
In 1976 Françoise and Francis Allegre purchased the property and in 1989 they named it Domaine Pierre Laine based on the first names of their children Pierre-Marc and Marjolaine.
Since 2008 the 20 ha of vineyards have been cultivated without any use of  pesticides, and since 2014 they are certified agriculture biologique.
90% of the production was in 2013 sold in tank.
