Frédéric Penne link Frédéric Penne's grandfather Gervais
Penne was born in Sainte Cécile les Vignes. He did make his career in
the hotel business in Paris, but he was carrying a dream of turning back to the
life in the countryside and in 1936 he bought a property in Sainte Cécile les Vignes
of 6 ha and called the place "Moun
Pantaï" which are the provencal words for "my dream".
Frédéric's parents lived in Paris and he grew up there,. He often visited his
grandfather and wanted to live like him. He therefore got an educations in Viticulture
and Enology, BTS and in 1986 when his grandfather retired Frédéric
was ready to take over the property.
In 1987 he bought more land so that he was able to make a living of being a
winegrower. In 1992 he built a new cellar.
