Boutinot is a negociant firm based in Great Britain. The owner of some restaurants established the firm in 1980 with the purpose to import wines to his own restaurants. It was his son Paul Boutinot who got the task to import the wines. This firm has grown to a big negociant firm through the years with activities in several wine producing contries and of course also France.
The firm has established its own domain in Cairanne and built cellars here where wines from owned (6 ha.) or rented vineyards in Seguret or other villages takes place. This domain is a completely independent company based in Cairanne and has nothing whatsoever to do with the Boutinot company importing negociant wines from Rhone.
Boutinot's vineyards are situated in the higher area north of Cairanne.

The red wines are vinified in truncated wooden tanks.

Cairanne La Côte Sauvage
Mainly Grenache with some Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan.
Aged for 24 months in barriques or demi-muids.

Cotes du Rhone Village Seguret Les Coteaux Schisteux
Mainly Grenache and some Syrah.
Aged for 22 months in barriques or demi-muids.

Cotes du Rhone Rosé Les Cerisiers
75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Direkte press.

Cotes du Rhone Blanc La Fleur Solitaire
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Viognier, Marsanne og Roussanne.
20-25% fermented and aged in demi-muids.
