Michel Bernard's family has lived in the area since the 15th century. In 1794 ancestors bought their first property. Vineyards of this property still belong to the family.
Michel Bernard took over the family property in 1971 and in 1986 he acquired Chateau Beauchene.
The property is the center for the production of wines from a total of 80 ha of which 8 ha are in Chateauneuf du Pape, while the remaining 72 ha are Cotes du Rhone and a small part is Cotes du Rhone Village.
At the chateau you can rent a so-called Salle de Mariages leased for family reunions or conferences. The daughter Amandine in charge of this activity.
Michel Bernard is responsible for work in vineyards and cellar, while Dominique is the head of accounting and office.
