The domain covers 9 ha. of Chateauneuf du Pape. 
It was founded by Claude's great grandfather. 
About 1900 his grandfather was one of few in the village to bottle the wine calling it Clos Courtil.
Until 1996 a great part of the production was sold to negociants.
The two sons David and Jêrome were educated to be able to take charge of the domain - and just that happened in 2015.

The vinification is traditional. Destalking is done only when needed. Fermentation in cement tanks.
Grenache is aged in concrete and Syrah and Mourvedre in pièces.
