Late 2014 the Sabon family at Domaine de la Janasse bought a domain in Jonquières Ferme Saint Antonin covering 15 hectares of vineyards. In the midst of these fields lies a residential originally built in the 17th century at whose facade you find the name St Antonin. This place name also occurred in Napolens Cadaster.
It should be the first step to divide Domaine de la Janasse in to two seperat domains in due time
In connection with the establishment of Clos Saint Antonin have this new domain taken over 2 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape from Domaine de la Janasse (plots of La Crau and Font du Loup).
So far Clos St Antonin covers 2 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, 4.5 ha of CDRV Plan de Dieu and 10.5 ha Cotes du Rhone or IGP.
Since there are not yet any cellar for vinification of the wines they will be made at Domaine de la Janasse. From there, the wines will also be promoted and sold
