In 1974 Pierre and Mireille Giraud founded the domain with 4 rented ha. At the same time they ran a destillery. In 1984 more vineyards were purchased and the destillery equipment were changed to tanks and foudres for winemaking.
The daughter Marie and the son François both got a solid wine education.
In 1998 the daughter Marie returned to the domain. At the same year the first wines were bottled at the domain. Later on François returned to the domain, and he and Marie took over after their parents. François is responsible for the vineyards and Marie for the vinification in the cellars.
The estate covers 30 ha of vineyards. 8 ha mainly with 100-years-old vines are situated in one block at Gallimardes, 1 ha of them with white varieties. The soil here is with big stones (galllimardes) with underlaying clay. A soil giving strong wines. At the lieux-dits Pignan and La Crau are also 100-years-old Grenache. The soil here is sandy.
Since 2011 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.
