In 1945 Gaston Brunel negociant in Chateauneuf du Pape puchased Chateau de la Gardine and was then the first owner from the Brunel family. In 1956 he was followed by his oldest son Maxime and in 1964 the youngest son Patrick joined his brother. In 2015 Patrick is the gérant according to societe.com
Maximes two children Philippe and Marie-Odile Brunel both work at the domaine. In 1989 Philippe returned to the domain having finished his viticultural and oenological education. In 1994 Marie-Odile Brunel had fineshed her oenological education and joined the family.
Patrick Brunel's wife Ere Brunel is also an oenologist and she and Marie-Odile works together in the cellars.
The vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape covers 54 ha. 
In 1963 Brunel bought 48 ha of vineyards in Rasteau and Roaix. In 1998 Chateau Saint Roch in Roquemaure was purchased. The former owner was known as a very good producer of Lirac.

Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Tradition
2018: 60% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah and 5% Muscardin.
Aged  in cuve or 2-6-years-old barriques for 9-14 months. 

Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée des Générations Gaston Philippe
2017: Equal shares of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.
Grenache vines 60-90 years old. Fermented in wooden tank.  Aged in new barriques for 14 - 18 months.

Chateauneuf du Pape L’Immortelle
2016: Equal shares of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. From at least 65-years-old vines.´No destemming. Raised in a special vat for 24 months

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Tradition
2019: 50% Roussane, 20% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 10% Bourboulenc. 30% is fermented and aged in barriques.

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc  Cuvée des Générations Marie-Léoncie 
2017: 90% Roussanne, 10% Clairette. Fermented and aged in new barriques.

Chateauneuf du Pape Peur Blue
2018: Equal shares of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre.
No sulphites added .

Rasteau
2017: 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah.

Rasteau Mème pas peur
2018: 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah. No sulphites added.
