The name of the domain comes from a noble family, Panisse who owned the place and other properties in Courthezon some centuries ago. 1992 - 2020 the domaine were run by the Olivier family
In August 2020 the domaine was purshased by the Vacheron familiy at Le Clos du Caillou. It will be run by Sylvie Vacheron's two children Alex and Marilou as well as Marilou's partner Antoine Robert, who has worked at Clos du Caillou for a few years.

Axel Vacheron has a BTS Viticulture Oenologi from Lycée Frédéric Bazille Agropolis in Montpellier.
Marilou has an education from IESEG School of Management in Lille.

Have not yet met Axel Vacheron but here a resent  photo from some where.

The property covers 7 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, 7 ha of Cotes du Rhone and 3 ha of IGP. Only red wines were made by the former owner.
From Chateauneuf du Pape two or three cuvées from
80% Grenache and some Syrah and Mourvedre, and an Cotes du Rhone from 80% Grenace and 20% Syrah from vineyards in Serignan du Comtat and Lagarde Pareoll.
