The property is situated at the the foot of Dent de Signac and covers a total of 90 ha of which 38 ha are with vines. The rest are wooden land around the chateau.

The first vines were plantet around at former Roman settlement by Benedictins munks. An owner in 1961 increased the area with vines from 4 to 38 ha. Therefore some of the vines have quite a high average age.
