The domain was established in 2014, when Marie and Benoit Lombrière took over 5.5 ha. of the family vineyards in Chateauneuf du Pape, located on Bois de la Ville and Les Serres. The vineyards belonged to Marie's father Marcel Georges at Domaine du Chateau de l'Hers, owned by him since 1980. He sold the rest of his vineyards to Christian Latouche at Chateau la Genestière in Tavel.
Benoit Lombrière presents himself as follows
"My family comes from Périgord, where we have been peasants for centuries. I grew up on the farm until I was about seven years old. This is probably where my taste for the soil comes from, for healthy products, for the respect of natural cycles. However, I have an atypical career for a winemaker. After my baccalaureate, I studied at Sciences-Po in Bordeaux, before taking a degree in commerce at ESSEC in the Paris region. I started my career in the institutions, I was in the cabinet of several ministers, then in the Presidency of the Republic."
It might be because of his history his wines are in the cellar of
Présidence de la République Française - Palais de l’Élysée
Domaine Georges-Lombrière, fournisseur officiel.

Since 2020 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.
