Shortly after 1900 the property came in possession of
the Bouchet family. At that time it covered 70 ha of meadows. The
grandfather of Gerard Bonnet owned the property from around 1920 but he
was not a collector. He was more interested in living as a boheme, une vie d’Épicurien.
Gerard Bouchet's father started to plant vines, and Gerard continued to
plant where possible. Since 2000 he has built new cellars. When he
started to bottle wines he called his Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Anaïs,
the name of his only child.
Anaïs Bouchet will in the future be able to take
over a modernised estate of 15 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, 6 ha of Cotes du
Rhone and 5 ha og IGP, situated in Chateauneuf du Pape, Bédarrides and Sorgues.
