The owner of Grandes Serres today is the the owner of Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet in Bourgondy who by purchasing the firm in 2002 to expand his range of wines to include several wines from the Rhone Valley.

In 2011, Samuel Montgermont was hired as head of the firm. Prior to his employment, he had worked for 10 years at the Chateau de la Gardine in Chateuneuf du Pape.
It would be necessary to expand the existing buildings in Chateauneuf du Pape if, as requested by the owner, a major development of the firm was to take place. 
This coincided with the fact that the Cairanne cooperative was on the verge of going bankrupt - stagnant production and too big investment. A reorganization involving an agreement with Grandes Serres on the use of certain parts of the cooperative's facilities was approved by the creditors.

65% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre. Aged in 1-2-years-old barriques

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc La Cour des Papes
65% Grenache Blanc, 25% Bourboulenc and 10% Clairette.

Gigondas La Combe des Marchands
Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Consault. Partly aged in barriques.

Vacqueyras Les Hautes Vaqueires
Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Partly aged in barriques.

Beaumes de Venise Rocca Luna
