About 1900 a cooper in Chateauneuf du Pape Maurice Deydier, who was out of a wine grower family decided to become a wine grower himself and changed the building from a cooperage into a wine cellar. He acquired some vineyards. Through the century sons took over from parents and more land was purchased. 

Until 2012 Pierre Deydier ran the family heritage, for some years by the help from his daugther Laurence Deydier and his nephew Jean-Francois Mery. In the last years of Pierre's regency the next generation's influence grow bigger and 2012-2020 they were the official owners

In summer 2020 the domaine was purshased by Phillippe Chigal who in 2017 
purschased Chateau de Nalys.
The 20 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape will probably be usefull to be a part of the wines from Chateau de Nalys. They are mainly situated at the lieux-dits Pied Long and La Crau.

Furthermore 12 hectares of Cotes du Rhone Village Massif d'Uchaux situated at the slopes around Beaumefort is a part of the purchase
