The domain was founded about 1920 by Frédéric Pierre Auguste Chastan. The 3^th generation, Dany Chastan has run the domain together with his father Fernand Chastan since 1980. Since 1999 her sister Carole has joined her.

The domain covers 30 ha., 11 ha in Gigondas, 6 ha in Vacqueyras and 13 ha in Seguret.
Since 1980 the vineyards have been cultivated organic (Nature & Progrès) as the first domain in Gigondas. Since 1989 they are certified agriculture biologique by ECOCERT.
10 ha. of the vines in Gigondas are situated at lieu-dit Clos du Joncuas.

2015: 80% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre/Syrah/Cinsault. Aged for 12 months in foudres. 

Gigondas Cuvée Esprit de Grenache
2015: From the oldest Grenache vines planted in 1958. 
Aged for 12 months in foudres or demi-muids. 

Clos du Joncuas Gigondas Rosé
2015: Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.

Vacqeyras La Font de Papier
2015: 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, Mourvedre.

Cotes du Rhone Village Seguret  Domaine La Grancière . 
2015: 70% Grenache og 30% Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault. 

Cotes du Rhone Village Seguret Blanc Domaine La Grancière .
