Colline Saint Jean has been in possession
of the Alazard family for generations.
The
domain covers 30 ha of vineyards in four appellations, 2 ha of Gigondas, 14 ha of Vacqueyras, 1,3 ha of Beaumes de Venise and
then Cotes du Rhone and IGP. All of the production is
bottled or sold in B&B at the domain.
The winemaking is tradtional and the red wines are aged in old small or bigger
barrels.
Wines
Gigondas
2015: 75% Grenache and 25% Mourvedre. 60-years-old vines.
Grenache is aged in foudres for 5 months and Mourvedre in barriques for 4
months.
Vacqueyras
2015: 70% Grenache 25% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre.
Grenache is matured in cement tank and Syrah and Mourvedre ini barriques.
Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes
2014: 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
Beaumes de Venise
2016: 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah.
Cotes du Rhone
2016: 45% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 25% Cinsault.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
2016: 50% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 20% Cinsault and 20% Carignan.
