The
co-operative was established in 1956. In 2011 80 members delivered grapes
from 145 ha Gigondas and 155 ha from other appellations. The total production
area of Gigondas was in 2015 made from 1214 ha. The cooperative then vinify 12%
of the production. Compared with other cooperatives this is not a big share and
illustrates that most wines from Gigondas is made and bottled in private
cellars. The typical size of the member's vineyards is 2-3 ha.
