Yves Cherons' father, Denis Cheron, moved from Bourgondy to Vacqueyras in the 1960-ties and here he purchaced a negociant firm, Cave du Grand Comtadiné. One of his suppliers was the owner of Domaine du Grand Montmirail, and when he wanted to retire he sold the domain to Denis Cheron. In the 1980-ties his son Yves Cheron took over after finishing wine school in Beaune. 

The domains' own vineyards covers 46 ha, 35 ha. Gigondas, 7 ha in Vacqueyras, 2 ha in Beaumes de Venise and 2 ha of Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. The 35 ha of Gigondas are situated at an altitude of 300-350 metres. 

Vignobles Cheron also owns two domains Domaine Les Hauts de Mercurol and Domaine Michel Poinard in northern Rhone and in Bourgogne Domaine Paul Misset and Domaine des Varoilles

Negociant wines are also made. They might have the brand "Pascal". 
The name of the supplier may also be used.
