domain has belonged to the Chauvet-family since 1806. Celine Chauvet is the 10
generation. For some years she worked together with har father Bernard Chauvet. Since
2012 she has offically been the owner og the domain.
Tthe property covers 14 ha
of Gigondas,
2 ha of Vacqueyras and 3,3 ha of
IGP. Only red wines are made at the estate.
Wines
Gigondas 1806
80% Grenache and 20%
Syrah. Aged for 14 months in foudres.
Gigondas Excellence
60% Grenache (some more than 80-years-old) and 40% Syrah.
Matured in cement tanks.
Vacqueyras 1806
70-80% Grenache and Syrah.
IGP 1806
2015:
80% Merlot and 20% Caladoc
