The first vines at the property were planted around 1900 - sticks that are still in production. It was only after the hard winter of 1956 that vines became monoculture. However, basements were established in 1934 after Clement Roux's grandfather had taken over the property. The domain name was created in 1980 from the oak trees near the property, and the first wines bottled with the named appeard the same year. 
Clement and his sister Céline have worked for a number of years with their Jean Roux. In May 2017, the change of generations officially took place when Clement Roux officially became responsible.
The domain covers 10 ha of Gigondas and 2-3 ha. in Sablet og Séguret.
A part of the production is negociant.

Wines

Gigondas
60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 3% Mourvedre and 7% Clairette Blanc
Grenache matured in cement tank, the rest pièces for 12-18 months.
In good vintages 2 cuvées of Gigondas might be made.

Cotes du Rhone 
100% Grenache from Seguret and Sablet.
