When ploughing the fields around Saint Gayan
roman vestiges are often revealed proving human presence at the place for at
least two milleniums.
The family of today know about ancesters back to 14. century. In 1709 the estate
was purchased by a direct forefather. Thus there is of course a feeling of
affinity present at the domain. Today it's the 10th generation running the
domain.
The next generation the son-in-law Christian-Yves Carré de Lusançay
has worked at the domain since 2007 when he married Julie.
The domain covers 16 ha of Gigondas, 0,75
ha of Chateauneuf du Pape (Lieu-dit Janasse), 1,4 ha
