The domain is named from the martyr St. Daimen. Once
there was
a small chapel in Beaumette dedicated to him.
Joël was the fifth generation at the domain and has been responsible since
1978.
In 2011 Joël's son Romain finished his wine education and returned to the
domain and worked together with his parents. Since 2015 Romain has been in
charge
The domain covers 22 ha Gigondas (12 ha.) and Cotes du Rhone. Those from Violès
is now Plan de Dieu
The
average age of the vines are 70 years.
The vineyards are certified agriculture biologique
since 2012.

Gigondas Vieilles Vignes
From 3,2 ha with 80% Grenache (planted 1964) and 20% Mourvedre
(planted in 1977).
30 days of maceration and then ageing in foudres for about 12 months.
Gigondas Les Souteyrades
From 5,5 ha. at lieu-dit Souteyrades with 80% Grenache (planted in 1948)
and 20% Mourvedre (planted in 1977)
6 weeks of maceration and then ageing
in foudres for about 12 months.
Gigondas La Louisanne
From 3,5 ha at lieu-dit Louisiane with 80% Grenache (planted in 1947), 15% Mourvedre
(planted in 1977), 5% Cinsault (planted in 1951) and Syrah.

Gigondas Cuvée Clovis
Minicuvée. Sélection from the oldest vines. Only magnums
80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. Aged for three years in demi-muids.
