The domain was established in 1987 by Alain Varenne and his son Laurent.
In 1995 new cellars were built. In 2007 Alain retired and left it to Laurent Varenne to run the domain of 7 ha. of Gigondas.
The wines are not exported.

Gigondas
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.

Gigondas Cuvée “Vieux Fût” 
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Aged in old barrels for 12 months.

At the wine shop you see at the photo below you will today find wind wines from the negociant Les Grandes Serres. Varenne's wines are sold from a shop to the left of the cellar.
