Josiane and Jean-Luc Faraud created the domain in 1995 from vineyards which had belonged to their parents: 2 ha. of Gigondas, 6 ha. of Vaqcueyras and one ha. of Vin du Pays / Cotes du Rhone.
The name of the domain is made from the provençal word restanco, which are the name for the walls you build if the vineyards are very sloping.
Until 2006 the grapes were delivered to the cooperative. In 2007 a new cellar was ready for the first vintage bottled at the domain.
Since 2012 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.

Grenache, 30% Syrah. Matured in cement tank.

Vacqueyras
Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre. Matured in cement tank.

Vacqueyras Blanc
Grenache Blanc, Viognier Clairette, Roussanne
Fermented and aged in newer barriques for 6 months.

Cotes du Rhone
Grenache, Carignan, Mourvedre

VDF Rosé
Grenache, Syrah
