The property has existed as a residential property since 1765. The main crop was then wheat, but it was also in the period before the arrival of the vine "epidemic" in the 1860s when vines were grown to a limited ecxtent.
In 1910, the property, already known as the Fourmone owned by the Foument family was purchased by Jules Combe and has been in Combe family's possession for five generations. Gradually, wine production came to mean more and more until vines gradually became the single crop. Faith against history an wheat branch today is used as a symbol at the labels.
For a number of years, the domain was run by the two sisters Aline and Marie Combe, but today Marie and her two children Albin and Florentine (5th generation) are both working on the domain.

The domain covers a total of 37 ha: 20 ha of Vacqueyras, 10 ha of Gigondas and 7 ha of Cotes du Rhone / IGP.

(Gigondas vineyards were added by marriage between Roger Combe and Louisette Fauquet)

2019: Grenache, Syrah.
