The families Vache and Archimbaud have grown vines in the Vacqueyras area for 3 centuries. In 1936 the owner was Gabriel Archimbaud. He participated in the process of the creation of the Cotes du Rhone appellation and he named his own domain Clos des Cazaux. His granddaughter married Maurice Vache, her two sons Jean-Michel and Frédéric Vache run the domain today and is 5th generation of pure vignerons.
In 1990 after having finished commercial studies (BTS) in Montpellier  and oenological studies in Bordeaux Jean-Michel returned to the domain joining his father. 10 years later Frédéric had finished his oenological studies in Dijon and joined his brother after two years of winemaking experiences in South Africa.

The total area of the property is 48 ha.  20 ha of Vacqueyras, 24 ha of Gigondas and 4 ha of Cotes du Rhone.

Gigondas Tour Sarrazine
70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre.
30-60-years-old vines at the slopes of Montmirail at an altidude of 200-300 m 

Gigondas Prestige
50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre.
Syrah and Mourvedre are aged for 18 months in barriques

Vacqueyras Cuvée Saint Roch
70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre.

Vacqueyras Cuvée Grenat Noble
100% Grenache. Only made in vintages where the meteorological circumstances develop pourriture noble. Attacted grapes will count for 30% of the blend.

Vacqueyras Réserve
75% Grenache, 25% Syrah.

Vacqueyras Rosé
Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.

Vacqueyras Blanc Cuvée des Clefs d'Or
70% Clairette and 30% Roussanne/Grenache Blanc.

Vacqueyras Blanc Vieilles Vignes
40% Clairette, 30% Roussane, 20% Grenache Blanc and 10% Viognier. Fermented and aged in barrels.

Cotes du Rhone
60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. 

Les Grains de Novembre
Late harvested Grenache Blanc attact by pourriture noble. Aged in barrels for two years.
