The
domain has until resently been known as Domaine Saint François
Xavier covering 26 hectares of vines in Gigonds, Vacqueyras and Cotes du
Rhone.
Some financial problems made has let to a reconstruction so the domain now
covering 8 ha of Gigondas.
The small change of the domain name to
François
Xavier Lambert is the name of
Jean-François'
great grandfather who was the first in the family to settle at the place
in 1950ties. At that time olives was a part of
the
production, but they were destroyed in the winter of 1956.
Later will follow which wines will now be produced.
