Cotes du Rhone Village Laudun may be made from certain vineyards in 3
communes in Gard, Laudun-l'Ardoise, Saint
Victor-la-Coste and Tresques.
A new ecpected CRU Laudun will probably cover the same area.

Cahiers des Charges (Rules)
All three wine types are included in the
village
appellation. It may be expected that at least red and white wines will be
included in the comming CRU as the white wines are recognized as very
good and (in 2017) counts for 18% of the production.
The allowed grape varieties is the same as
for other Cotes du Rhone village appellations
NB it's about plantings in the vineyards - not blending
Rouge and Rosé
Grenache must be
at least 50%.
Syrah and Mourvedre must
together be at least 20%.
Other grapes allowed for Cotes du Rhone, must
not exceed 20%.
White varieties may be used for rosé - as "other grapes".
Blanc
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc and Viognier must
be at least 80% Other grapes allowed for Cotes du Rhone, may
not exceed 20%
