Laurent is the 7th generation of the Pontaud family at the domain. His father Bernard took over the domain in 1971. Larent became co-owner in 2005. In February 2019, the generational shift was completed.
A total of 80 hectares belong. to the domain. 60 ha. is located in Gaujac (Cotes du Rhone - The domain is the only private producer in Gaujac) 
and 20 ha in Laudun (Cotes du Rhone or Cotes du Rhone Village Laudun)
