Cyril Marès is 6th
generation of winegrowers. His father Roger Marès established the domain in 1964.
Roger Marès had also together with his father planted vines in Haut Medoc. The
vineyards here are today managed by a cousin of Cyrils.
Cyril has studied "Viticulture and Oenology" in Montpellier. After
having finished his education in 1994 he worked at Chalone Vinyard in the US and
in Bordeaux at Chateau Cos
d'Estournelle and Chateau Margaux. Afther that he did his miltary service and
was finally ready to take over at Mas des Bressades in 1996. Cyril is married to
Nathalie Blanc-Marès who in 2013 took over her parent's property Mas Carlot / Chateau Paul
Blanc. In 2018 Cyril and Nathalie divorced and (in 2019) Cyril is officially
responsable at both domains.
The domain covers 25 ha of vineyards.

Costières de Nimes Tradition
2019: 40% Syrah, 60% Grenache.
Costières de Nimes Exellence
2019: 100% Syrah. Aged in 1-3-years-old barriques for 12 months.
Costières de Nimes Quintessence
90% Grenache, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre. 15 hl/ha. Aged in old
barrels.
Costières de Nimes Rosé Tradition
2020: 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Cinsault. Saignée.
Costières de Nimes Blanc Tradition
2020: 50% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 10% Marsanne, 10% Viognier.
Costières de Nimes Blanc Exellence
2020: 70% Roussanne, 30% Viognier. Vinified In barrel or amphora.
IGP Gard Les vignes de mon père
2019: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah.
Aged for 12 months in new barriques.
VDF Les 5 Sence
2020: 100% Cinsault.
